Lead Mechanical Engineer

About the role

The Lead Mechanical Engineer will head the mechanical construction, coordination and commissioning activities for a DSCO data‑center project in Jakarta. You will ensure all mechanical systems are correctly installed, inspected, tested and ready for operational hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mechanical construction management for cooling, plantroom and related systems.
• Coordinate pipework, pumps, chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, ventilation and drainage installations.
• Oversee inspection, testing and documentation to meet commissioning readiness.
• Manage interfaces with power, fire protection, structural works and builder’s requirements.
• Ensure compliance with mechanical testing prerequisites and control system integration.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading mechanical engineering projects, preferably in data‑center or large‑scale construction.
• Strong understanding of cooling infrastructure, plantroom layout and mechanical system integration.
• Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams from early construction through commissioning.
