Landside Product Manager - Customs & Transportation

About the role

The Landside Product Manager will own and grow Maersk's Landside portfolio in Indonesia, focusing on Customs (MCS) and supporting First Mile solutions. This role blends product ownership with business development to drive revenue, margin optimisation and pipeline conversion while ensuring operational feasibility and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end performance of the Landside product portfolio, driving strategy, offerings and bundled logistics solutions.
• Lead business development activities, creating, qualifying and converting pipeline opportunities.
• Deliver on revenue, gross profit and margin targets, managing RFQs, pricing governance and approvals.
• Make Go/No‑Go decisions based on product fit, operational feasibility and risk.
• Ensure alignment with vendors, control costs and maintain compliance with Indonesia’s customs regulations.
• Monitor KPIs such as revenue growth, GP margin, pipeline conversion, loss‑making accounts and service performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 + years in logistics with strong landside and business development exposure.
• Proven product, operations or sales experience with clear P&L ownership.
• Deep understanding of haulage (port‑to‑port) operations and Indonesian customs processes.
• Strong commercial acumen, ability to assess deal profitability and make disciplined decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Licensed Customs Broker is an advantage.
