Hospitality & Service Excellence Instructor

About the role

The Hospitality & Service Excellence Instructor will deliver training programs that follow the LPK curriculum, combining classroom instruction with hands‑on practice. The role involves teaching hospitality service procedures, grooming standards, workplace etiquette and customer‑service excellence while guiding students toward professional and international hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver hospitality and service‑excellence training programs in both classroom and practical settings.
• Teach service procedures, grooming standards, workplace etiquette and customer‑service best practices.
• Guide students on workplace culture, professionalism and international hospitality standards.
• Monitor, assess and evaluate student performance and competency development.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to prepare students for employment in the hospitality sector.
• Develop and continuously improve training materials, lesson plans and instructional methods.
• Ensure training activities comply with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS/K3) standards.
• Prepare training reports and student progress evaluations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma (D3) in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Culinary Arts, Hotel Administration or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the hospitality industry (hotel, resort, restaurant, cruise line, etc.).
• BNSP Hospitality Certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of hospitality operations, guest‑service standards and service excellence.
• Familiarity with OHS/K3 standards and workplace safety practices.
• Experience in training, coaching or mentoring is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, disciplined and passionate about developing future hospitality professionals.
