Grant Acquisition Specialist

About the role

World Vision Indonesia is seeking a Grant Acquisition Specialist to lead the identification and acquisition of funding from bilateral, multilateral, local government donors and World Vision Support Offices. The role involves developing project proposals, managing donor relationships, and supporting emergency response initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update short‑ and long‑term grant acquisition strategies aligned with market trends and WVIDN’s core programs.
• Conduct donor and partner mapping, market studies, and readiness assessments to diversify funding models.
• Identify and analyze funding opportunities (grants, service contracts, innovative financing) and assess alignment with the country strategy.
• Lead the preparation of funding opportunity synopses, Go/No‑Go analyses, and comprehensive project proposals in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Facilitate blocked‑party screening and due‑diligence processes for new donors and partners.
• Support partnership development, donor relations, and knowledge sharing within the grant acquisition function.

Required profile

• Proven experience in grant acquisition, donor relations, or fundraising within the nonprofit or development sector.
• Strong analytical skills to assess funding opportunities and align them with organizational strategies.
• Excellent written communication for proposal development and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functional teams and adapt to emergency response needs.
