Finance Coordinator – Humanitarian Project

About the role

Save the Children Indonesia is transitioning to a locally‑driven, financially sustainable organization. The Finance Coordinator will support this transformation by leading financial planning, accounting, and reporting for humanitarian programmes, ensuring compliance with Save the Children policies and Indonesian regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial accounting and management reporting for programmes and operations.
• Collaborate with the Awards team, Finance Manager, CFO and grant finance staff to meet monthly spending targets and operational KPIs.
• Develop and maintain a robust financial governance framework that addresses risk and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with project managers to integrate financial controls into project planning and execution.
• Contribute to the development of a national foundation’s financial sustainability strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance or accounting within NGOs, humanitarian or development contexts.
• Strong understanding of financial governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions and with external partners.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
