Director, Specialist Sales – Consumer & Digital Solutions

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a commercially‑minded payments professional to lead specialist sales of its Consumer & Digital Solutions portfolio in Indonesia. The Director will work closely with issuers, account managers and product teams to drive growth, adoption of digital payments and enhanced customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Drive specialist solution sales across credit, debit, prepaid, tokenisation, authentication and digital commerce offerings.
• Engage financial institution clients to translate Mastercard capabilities into clear business value, tailored use cases and measurable outcomes.
• Develop and present integrated value propositions that combine card products and digital payment solutions to support issuer growth and customer acquisition.
• Support issuers in adopting and scaling tokenised payments, digital wallets and X‑Pay enablement.
• Partner with Account Management and Business Development on client engagements, proposals, RFPs and strategic opportunities.
• Create and maintain high‑quality sales enablement materials, including presentations, solution narratives and market insights.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Delivery and Services teams to ensure solution readiness and successful launches.
• Monitor market dynamics, customer needs and competitive activity to identify innovation and growth opportunities.
• Maintain visibility of pipeline activity, key opportunities and dependencies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in payments, preferably within issuer or financial institution environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth.
• Ability to translate complex product capabilities into clear business value for clients.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior‑level stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborative mindset to work across cross‑functional teams.
