Direct Transport Sales Representative – East Indonesia

About the role

Maersk is looking for a dynamic Sales Representative to develop and expand its Direct Transport business in East Indonesia, with a focus on Semarang. You will be responsible for building relationships with Beneficial Cargo Owners and driving growth in a competitive market.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the East Indonesia territory.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase market share and achieve sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, providing tailored logistics solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful service delivery.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
• Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to management.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience, preferably in ocean shipping or logistics.
• Strong understanding of container shipping markets and related services.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Fluent in English and Indonesian, both written and spoken.
