Deputy Project Manager – Civil & Structural Works

About the role

The Deputy Project Manager / Lead C&S supports the Project Manager in overseeing the site construction team, focusing on civil and structural works. This senior technical role ensures that all civil, sub‑structure, super‑structure, façade, underground and temporary works are coordinated, inspected and handed over to MEP and commissioning teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead civil and structural design implementation on site, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate sub‑structure, super‑structure, façade, underground and site infrastructure activities.
• Manage temporary works and construction readiness for MEP installation.
• Inspect, sequence, document and hand over civil/structural works to follow‑on MEP, testing and commissioning teams.
• Monitor progress against milestones such as permanent power readiness, equipment delivery and utility interfaces.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve inter‑dependencies and maintain project schedule.

Required profile

• Proven experience in civil and structural construction management, preferably on large‑scale infrastructure or data‑center projects.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide on‑site teams and subcontractors.
• Excellent understanding of construction sequencing, inspection procedures and handover processes.
• Ability to work closely with MEP, commissioning and operations teams.
