Database & Business Intelligence Engineer

About the role

The Database & Business Intelligence Engineer will design, develop, and maintain reporting solutions and data pipelines that empower business stakeholders with actionable insights. Working within the IT team in South Jakarta, you will ensure data reliability and performance across multiple database platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Superset, or Cognos.
• Design, build, and monitor ETL workflows with Pentaho (PDI) to integrate data from diverse sources.
• Administer, tune, and troubleshoot Oracle and MySQL databases to guarantee optimal performance.
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data extraction scripts.
• Collaborate with business analysts and other stakeholders to translate requirements into data‑driven solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Database administration.
• Proven ability to work independently and deliver high‑quality data products.

Required skills

• Power BI, Superset, or Cognos for visualization.
• Oracle and MySQL database management.
• Pentaho (PDI) for ETL development.
• Strong SQL programming and data analysis capabilities.
