Country Manager, Indonesia

About the role

A well-established international business with a strong presence across the US, Europe and Asia is looking for a Country Manager to lead its Indonesia business. The role carries full P&L ownership across commercial and operations, reporting to regional leadership. It is a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the Indonesia business forward with full accountability for commercial performance, operational excellence, financial results and organizational effectiveness.
• Provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership across all aspects of the business, ensuring sustainable growth, strong customer partnerships, operational efficiency and compliance with corporate governance standards.
• Strengthen organizational capabilities, enhance business processes and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Align commercial and operational priorities, develop local teams and position the business for long-term success.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience, with significant responsibility for business performance and team leadership.
• Proven track record in Country Manager, General Manager, Managing Director, President, Business Unit Leader or equivalent senior leadership roles.
• Strong experience managing full P&L responsibility in a complex business environment.
• Experience driving organizational development, business transformation, operational excellence, process improvement or change initiatives.
• Prior experience in multinational organizations is strongly preferred.
• Experience in process industries, manufacturing, chemicals, industrial products, industrial services, engineering, energy or materials.
