Content & Communication Specialist

About the role

The Content & Communication Specialist ensures clarity, consistency, and quality in Acorn’s external messaging and internal communications. The role creates high‑quality written content for marketing, business development, and thought‑leadership, while managing structured internal communications to keep teams aligned.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver high‑quality copy across social media, proposals, website, articles, and thought‑leadership materials.
• Ensure all written outputs are clear, consistent, and aligned with Acorn’s tone of voice.
• Translate strategic and technical inputs into accessible, engaging content.
• Manage internal communications across the business, ensuring timely and structured information sharing.
• Draft internal announcements, updates, and leadership communications.
• Maintain consistency and clarity across internal messaging channels.
• Work closely with BD, strategy, and leadership to support campaigns and proposals.
• Take feedback constructively and iterate quickly on written outputs.
• Ensure accuracy, attention to detail, and proofreading across all deliverables.
• Identify opportunities to improve internal communication processes and content quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, English, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in content creation, communications, marketing, or a similar role.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong copywriting ability across multiple formats such as social media, website, proposals, and articles.
• Ability to simplify complex or technical ideas into clear messaging.
• Highly organized with strong time‑management skills and the capacity to meet multiple deadlines.
