Business Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead the sales and partnership strategy for our IT and software solutions. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships and driving revenue growth across multiple industry sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet targets and account performance goals.
• Research and analyse potential markets and industries to generate qualified leads and strategic partnerships.
• Manage business partners using the BANT+C methodology to convert leads into opportunities.
• Provide accurate pricing estimates aligned with client requirements.
• Negotiate product and solution offerings with C‑Level executives.
• Participate in pre‑sales activities to tailor IT solutions to customer needs.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure delivery of agreed performance goals.
• Maintain and report on the sales pipeline on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
• Handle customer issues and complaints professionally and promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma (D3); preferably a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business or related field.
• 5‑6 years of experience selling IT solutions such as custom development, ERP, cloud, middleware, APIs, automation and database management.
• Experience with accounts in Banking, Telco, Government, Retail, Fintech, Manufacturing and related sectors.
• Proven ability to engage mid‑level management and C‑Level executives.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing partners and principals.
• Understanding of financial fundamentals (P&L, COGS, budgeting) and contract terms.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
