Business Development Manager – Consumer Markets (IFS)

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager for the Consumer Markets industry to drive growth across the sector. The role will partner with industry leaders, account teams and market teams to translate strategy into actionable plans and support high‑quality pursuits.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of Consumer Markets industry strategy and planning.
• Manage and track the sales pipeline, pursuits and performance metrics.
• Provide account planning, insights and opportunity tracking for priority clients.
• Coordinate proposals and pitches, ensuring quality, compliance and strong client positioning.
• Deliver market intelligence, client insights and competitor analysis.
• Collaborate with Markets Central on campaigns, events and thought‑leadership initiatives.

Required profile

• 6–10 years of experience in business development, markets or strategy, preferably within professional services.
• Strong understanding of Consumer Markets such as retail, consumer goods or agriculture.
• Proven track record in pipeline management, reporting and proposal support.
• Excellent stakeholder management, analytical and communication abilities.
• Highly organized self‑starter comfortable in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
• Strong numerical aptitude with attention to financial details.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
