Business Development Executive

About the role

The Business Development Executive will drive new revenue streams for Travelport Indonesia by identifying prospects, building strong client relationships, and delivering tailored travel‑industry solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Research and qualify potential clients and new business opportunities.
• Maintain professional relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Provide timely assistance on product offerings and business solutions.
• Analyse market trends and recommend sales strategies to support expansion.
• Prepare regular performance reports and presentations.
• Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams and principals to deliver optimal client solutions.
• Participate in projects and other duties to boost team productivity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or business development.
• At least 2 years in travel, airline, GDS or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication and presentation abilities.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and target‑oriented mindset.
• Self‑driven, proactive and fast learner.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
