Bulk Supply Chain Manager

About the role

Air Liquide Indonesia is seeking a Bulk Supply Chain Manager to lead its distribution team in delivering bulk gases safely and efficiently across multiple industrial sites. The role focuses on optimizing fleet performance, controlling costs, and ensuring strict regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Bulk Supply Chain team, including drivers, dispatchers, and analysts.
• Drive the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process in collaboration with production facilities and stakeholders.
• Oversee daily delivery activities, refine route planning and load factors to improve the Load per KM metric.
• Manage utilization, maintenance, and uptime of tractors, cryogenic tanker trailers, and ISO tanks.
• Enforce Air Liquide Group standards and local safety regulations across all workflows.
• Investigate transport incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Control the logistics budget, perform monthly cost analyses, and lead cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Prepare and track CAPEX requirements and asset allocations.
• Monitor and report key operational indicators and logistics cost targets to leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in bulk logistics, preferably in chemicals, oil & gas, or industrial gases.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to manage complex compliance frameworks.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of anticipating operational disruptions.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Programming knowledge such as Google Apps Script (considered a plus).
