Associate – Advisory Deals – Business Recovery Services

About the role

PwC’s Deals team in Jakarta is seeking an Associate for the Business Recovery Services practice. You will work alongside senior advisors to help clients navigate financial distress, restructuring and complex transactions, delivering strategic solutions that optimise recovery outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Support buy‑side and sell‑side M&A advisory activities, including target search, due diligence, valuation and transaction documentation.
• Develop and maintain financial models to assess feasibility, restructuring options and debt‑restructuring scenarios.
• Assist in corporate and group restructuring projects and fund‑raising initiatives for distressed businesses.
• Build client relationships, gather data from multiple sources, and contribute to the preparation of advisory deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (minimum GPA 3.0/4.0); a Master’s/MBA is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Professional qualifications such as CFA or CPA are advantageous.
