Accounts Payable Specialist

About the role

The Accounts Payable Specialist will ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments, supporting the finance team’s overall efficiency. You will work closely with procurement, operations, and other business units to keep the accounts payable function running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile ERP financial data with vendor invoices and payment records, investigating any discrepancies.
• Manage end‑to‑end accounts payable administration, including invoice processing, payment preparation, and document filing.
• Verify and process vendor invoices according to company policies and approval procedures.
• Communicate with vendors and business partners regarding payment status, billing issues, and invoice inquiries.
• Collaborate with procurement, operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless AP processes.
• Monitor payment schedules to guarantee vendors and service providers are paid on time.
• Stay up‑to‑date with banking, tax, and payment regulations relevant to accounts payable activities.

Required profile

• Highly meticulous and detail‑oriented with strong accuracy in handling invoices and financial records.
• Well‑organized, able to maintain accurate documentation while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
• Familiarity with vendor management, invoice verification, payment processing, tax documentation, or bank settlement processes is a plus.
