Accounting & Tax Manager

About the role

The Accounting & Tax Manager will lead end‑to‑end accounting and tax functions for Simbadda Group, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting. This senior position reports to senior finance leadership and oversees a dedicated accounting and tax team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial consolidation.
• Ensure compliance with PSAK/IFRS standards and internal financial policies.
• Manage corporate taxation (VAT, corporate income tax) and all related reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual financial audits.
• Monitor cash flow, operating expenses, and profitability.
• Develop and implement SOPs for finance and tax processes.
• Maintain data integrity in ERP systems and support strategic financial analysis.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate the accounting & tax team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Taxation (Master’s a plus).
• 5‑8 years of accounting and tax experience, including 2‑3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of PSAK/IFRS and Indonesian tax regulations (VAT, corporate tax).
• Experience in full‑set reporting, month‑end/year‑end closing, and audit coordination.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written & spoken) preferred.
