Technical Promotion Specialist

About the role

ABB is looking for a Technical Promotion Specialist to drive proactive promotional activities for its Electrification Smart Building Business in Indonesia. You will create market demand, educate customers on ABB solutions, and build long‑term relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute technical presentations, demonstrations, seminars and educational material for target audiences.
• Develop and maintain a schedule of customer visits, conduct status reviews and analyse outcomes to generate actionable insights.
• Establish long‑term relationships with customers, ensuring they are informed about ABB products, systems, services, features and benefits.
• Deliver strong value propositions using effective promotional techniques and support solution development for customer projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience working with consultants, developers, project owners, contractors and MEP in the electrical sector.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of delivering technical seminars, demonstrations and workshops.
• Strong business acumen to align technical solutions with customer needs and business objectives.
• Analytical ability to plan visits, assess outcomes and translate insights into opportunities.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and willing to travel regularly for customer engagement.
