Talent Scientist

About the role

The Talent Scientist will work closely with the Product Manager and Customer Success teams to design, develop, and validate assessment tools for our people‑analytics platform. This role combines psychometric expertise with data‑driven insights to support clients in talent management decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Product Manager to create assessment items, scoring algorithms, and report prototypes.
• Apply classical test theory (CTT) and item response theory (IRT) to analyse test data and produce technical documentation.
• Serve as a domain expert for Business Development, presenting assessment solutions during client meetings and pitches.
• Coordinate with the Lead Talent Science team to ensure quality control, validation, and continuous improvement of assessment tools.
• Generate actionable insights by analysing client HR and assessment data, supporting strategic discussions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, preferably with a focus on psychometrics.
• Experience in large‑scale test development and validation.
• Strong interest in assessment development, data analytics, and generative AI.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel
• Statistical analysis tools such as SPSS, Lisrel, RStudio, and JASP
• Knowledge of classical test theory and modern test theory (IRT)
