Supply & Operation Planning Intern

About the role

Join Astro Technologies Indonesia as a Supply & Operation Planning Intern and support the end‑to‑end planning process for our product portfolio. You will work closely with the supply chain team to ensure accurate order quantities, maintain inventory health, and help meet delivery commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate order quantities by considering current stock, outstanding purchase orders, and demand forecasts.
• Determine material requirements for SKUs with bill of materials.
• Assess warehouse capacity and provide recommendations for rescheduling approvals.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional stakeholders to guarantee on‑time delivery and uphold service level agreements for purchase order creation.
• Monitor and improve out‑of‑stock rates, lost‑sales rates, and days of inventory across categories.
• Participate in a side project to automate routine tasks using data‑programming tools.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate or final‑year student in Engineering, Management, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.
• Well‑organized, responsible and proactive ownership of tasks.

Required skills
