Structural Integrity Engineer

About the role

The Structural Integrity Engineer will ensure the safety and reliability of offshore jacket, topsides, and onshore civil structures by leading integrity and inspection programs. You will work closely with clients, inspection teams, EPC contractors, and multidisciplinary engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Structural Integrity Management and Baseline Inspection strategies in line with industry standards and client requirements.
• Design risk‑based inspection programs, including Risk‑Based Underwater Inspection (RBUI), and create Planned Maintenance Routines (PMRs).
• Prepare detailed inspection workpacks and review structural inspection reports, NDE results, and third‑party deliverables.
• Perform structural risk assessments, evaluate degradation mechanisms, and recommend remediation actions.
• Coordinate with offshore and site inspection teams using RAT, UAV, ROV, and specialist NDE methods.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry codes, and safety standards.
• Support technical delivery, resource planning, budgeting, and preparation of techno‑commercial proposals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural or related engineering discipline; Chartered Engineer status is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of civil/structural engineering experience, preferably 8+ years in oil & gas.
• Hands‑on experience in Structural Integrity Management and risk‑based inspection programs.
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering codes, standards, and recommended practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
