SQL Server Database Operations Analyst & Engineer

About the role

The Database Operations Analyst / Engineer will ensure the stability, performance, and security of our SQL Server environment. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to support hospital information systems and related web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and upgrade SQL Server databases and related client applications.
• Configure and optimise server performance within an Active Directory domain.
• Implement and manage Group Policy objects and VPN connections for secure data transfer.
• Troubleshoot network and system issues, including LAN and wireless installations.
• Develop and maintain internal and external hospital websites, analysing usage and recommending improvements.
• Collaborate with business partners to establish secure data access and transfer mechanisms.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in database administration or systems engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve technical issues and propose enhancements.
