Social Media Executive

About the role

The Social Media Executive will lead the planning, creation, and distribution of content across multiple social platforms to raise public awareness and engagement for Wahana Visi Indonesia’s mission. This role supports the organization’s core approaches of transformational development, advocacy, and emergency response.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a social media strategy for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and WhatsApp that aligns with branding and acquisition goals.
• Create, edit and publish consistent, meaningful content to drive engagement and promote campaigns.
• Identify and collaborate with nano and micro‑influencers to amplify reach.
• Manage content distribution across all platforms and ensure regular audience interaction.
• Analyse social media trends and performance in coordination with the Digital Marketing Performance Executive.
• Support capacity‑building initiatives and integrate branding communications with operations, People & Culture, and regional offices.
• Maintain brand and safeguarding compliance, monitor reputation risks, and explore new touch points.
• Produce actionable reports, dashboards and analyses for leadership decision‑making.
• Coordinate with other teams in the region to enhance content effectiveness.

• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple units and regions.
• Excellent written communication and editorial skills.
