Senior Solution Analyst

About the role

Kompas Gramedia is seeking a Senior Solution Analyst to evaluate existing systems, identify improvement opportunities, and design end‑to‑end solutions that align with business goals. You will work closely with both IT and business units to translate requirements into robust technical designs.

Key responsibilities

• Examine current systems and processes, document gaps, and propose enhancements.
• Elicit, analyze, and document business and system requirements (BRD, FSD, SRS, Use Cases).
• Design solution architecture, create data flow diagrams, ERDs, and technical specifications.
• Lead and mentor junior analysts, ensuring quality of deliverables.
• Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver solutions.
• Define and oversee testing programs, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sign‑off.
• Provide user training, post‑implementation support, and change‑management assistance.
• Conduct vendor evaluations, cost‑benefit analyses, and risk assessments.
• Prepare and present solution proposals, progress reports, and business cases to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with GPA > 3.00.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Business, System, or Solution Analyst, with prior leadership or mentoring responsibilities.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL querying and performance optimization.
• Database design, ERD creation, and data‑modeling techniques.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (Agile/Scrum and Waterfall).
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and Enterprise Architect.
• Proficiency in MS Excel for prototyping transactions and reports.
