About the role

Reporting to the Airbus Chief Representative in Indonesia, the Senior Government and Military Affairs professional aligns Airbus’ strategic objectives with Indonesia’s national policy and security framework. The role provides high‑level advisory, facilitates access to key decision‑makers across the State’s architecture, and balances regulatory monitoring with institutional relationships at the highest levels of government and the armed forces.

Key responsibilities

• Provide actionable intelligence on the political‑military ecosystem and advise on the country strategy.
• Maintain professional relationships with the Executive Office of the President, Ministry of State‑Owned Enterprises, BKPM, and the Ministry of Transportation.
• Coordinate dialogue with the Ministry of Defense, the Defense Industry Policy Committee, and the senior command of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force).
• Monitor and analyze laws, decrees, and policies affecting aerospace and defence operations, delivering strategic recommendations.
• Prepare reports, talking points, and briefings for high‑level forums to position Airbus as a trusted partner.

Required profile

• Over 15 years of senior‑level experience in defence forces, government service, or international strategic affairs.
• Verifiable network within the highest echelons of the Presidential Office, Ministry of Defense, and senior command of the TNI.
• Mastery of formal protocols and cultural nuances for engagement with senior military officers and state officials.
• Proven ability to synthesize complex governmental and military information into actionable strategy.
• Demonstrated independence and composure in managing sensitive institutional scenarios.
