Senior Associate – Tax – International Assignment Services

About the role

PwC Indonesia is seeking a Senior Associate for its International Assignment Services team. The role focuses on delivering tax return, compliance and advisory services to high‑net‑worth individuals and privately‑owned businesses operating across borders.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and front‑load client information, review tax returns and send questionnaires.
• Maintain work records, monitor milestones in global and local databases, and follow up on outstanding data.
• Handle Tax ID registration and cancellation, including client correspondence and status monitoring.
• Conduct arrival and departure tax consultations and, when required, lead tax briefings.
• Perform Article 21 income tax and hypothetical tax calculations and communicate results to managers.
• Monitor monthly and annual tax payments, review fund requests, and liaise with clients on billing requirements.
• Prepare filing correspondences, manage urgent client queries, and review tax collection letters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Fiscal studies with a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
• 3–5 years of relevant tax experience, preferably with exposure to international tax.
• Strong attention to detail, collaborative mindset, and excellent interpersonal communication.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
