Senior Associate – Advisory Deals Strategy & Operations

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Advisory Deals team in Jakarta. You will support clients through mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and restructuring by providing strategic analysis, market insight and execution guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing multiple client engagements and report to senior managers.
• Train, mentor and supervise junior staff.
• Build and maintain effective client relationships.
• Conduct market and industry research, applying numerical and strategic analysis techniques.
• Support clients with strategic planning, growth initiatives, market entry and international expansion.
• Develop business development materials and identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate with Knowledge Management to leverage trend information.
• Deliver work packages on tight deadlines and propose actionable solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in deal strategy, M&A or related advisory work.
• Strong client‑facing skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership in guiding junior team members.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguous situations and asking insightful questions.
• Ability to stay current on local and national business and economic issues.
