Security Operation Center Analyst L1

About the role

The Security Operation Center (SOC) Analyst L1 will join our cyber security team to monitor, triage and respond to security alerts. This entry‑level position provides hands‑on experience in incident handling and threat intelligence within a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts from multiple tools and systems and perform initial triage.
• Investigate, validate and document security events in the ticketing system.
• Escalate incidents according to defined procedures and collaborate with team members for response.
• Support the creation and refinement of detection rules and threat‑intelligence updates.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and follow established procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a SOC or cyber security operations environment.
• Mandatory certifications: CEH, CompTIA Security+, CND.
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms, log analysis and incident handling.
• Basic understanding of network security, threat detection and incident response.
• Willingness to work shifts/on‑site and strong communication skills.
