Project Engineer Mechanical

About the role

The Mechanical Project Engineer will support the design, tender and construction of data‑center facilities in Jakarta. You will work closely with consultants, vendors and the sales team to ensure technical solutions meet both local and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review planning designs and coordinate technical agreements with consultants.
• Conduct Bill of Quantities (BOQ) reviews and align with consultants.
• Check shop drawings, material documents and technical specifications.
• Attend FAT, SAT and IST testing sessions, validating equipment performance and quality.
• Coordinate multiple vendors throughout tendering, installation and testing phases.
• Validate construction‑stage technical documents.
• Provide technical data to the sales team for tender proposals.
• Ensure the data‑center building complies with local and international standards.

Required profile

• Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering.
• Approximately 5 years of experience in data‑center construction.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, thermodynamics and heat transfer.
• Basic training in Project Management is a plus.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Motivated team player able to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• CAD drawing proficiency.
• Experience with BIM software (highly preferred).
• Understanding of thermodynamics and heat‑transfer principles.
• Knowledge of data‑center mechanical systems.
• Basic project‑management techniques.
