Project Coordinator – PASTI Project Papua (Mimika)

About the role

The Project Coordinator will lead planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the PASTI‑Papua project, supporting local partners and managing service providers to reduce stunting in Mimika.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and contribute to the annual operating plan, research, baseline studies and community learning activities.
• Manage project budgets, ensure cost‑effective use of resources and compliance with USAID and WVI financial policies.
• Identify capacity gaps of community groups and partners, deliver technical support and training.
• Monitor implementation at community level, prepare monthly reports and ensure data quality for assessments and evaluations.
• Coordinate with local government, NGOs, and other stakeholders to build partnerships and sustain project outcomes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of project management experience in public health, nutrition or community development.
• Experience working with local communities in Papua, especially Mimika or Asmat, is preferred.
• Proven ability to plan, implement, monitor and evaluate development projects.
• Strong interpersonal and cross‑cultural communication skills.

Required skills

• Familiarity with donor reporting requirements and high‑quality documentation.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
