Product Development Manager – OEM IT Products

About the role

The Product Development Manager will drive the strategy and execution of our OEM IT product portfolio. You will translate market insights into product vision, work closely with design and engineering teams, and ensure successful launches that meet customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze market trends, customer and competitor data to shape product direction.
• Define product vision, create prototypes with designers and engineers, and refine features based on feedback.
• Interpret user data, pricing comparisons, and sales metrics to guide development decisions.
• Maintain relationships with end‑users, IT partners, and principals; pursue partnership opportunities and negotiations.
• Forecast demand, manage ordering, inventory, and coordinate product knowledge training for the sales team.
• Develop and control the marketing budget, plan product launches, and execute campaigns, PR, and events.
• Collaborate with sales to set pricing strategies for the product portfolio.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1).
• At least 3 years experience as a Product Specialist, Product Manager or Product Development professional in IT hardware distribution.
• Strong analytical background with advanced Excel skills (Pivot, HLookup, VLookup).
• Ability to interpret market data, cost structures and consumer feedback.
• Fluent English; Mandarin a plus; experience sourcing products in China.
• Willingness to work onsite in West Jakarta (Meruya) and travel for roadshows or new market projects.
