Procurement Officer – Supplier Management & Sourcing

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Officer to support our New Product Development (NPD) initiatives by identifying, evaluating and managing suppliers for materials, components and packaging. The role will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely and cost‑effective sourcing.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct market research and assess capabilities, quality systems and compliance.
• Coordinate supplier qualification, onboarding and maintain strong relationships to ensure reliability and continuous improvement.
• Obtain and analyze quotations, support cost analysis and budgeting, and negotiate terms and pricing.
• Collaborate with NPD, R&D and other functions to align sourcing activities with product timelines, provide updates on supplier status, lead times and risk mitigation.
• Maintain sourcing databases, supplier records and price lists; prepare reports, cost comparisons and performance summaries in line with internal procurement policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in sourcing or procurement (fresh graduates are welcome).
• Experience in vendor management, supplier coordination and procurement processes, preferably in FMCG, white‑label or private‑label products.
• Strong analytical and negotiation abilities, detail‑oriented and able to work under tight timelines.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, both internal and external.
