Power BI Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Power BI Developer to design, build and maintain interactive dashboards that support business decision‑making. The role involves translating UI/UX mockups into pixel‑perfect visualisations and ensuring optimal performance on large‑screen displays.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports from concept to production.
• Convert Figma, Adobe XD or image mockups into accurate, responsive Power BI visualisations.
• Connect Power BI to enterprise data marts on Cloudera, Hive or Impala and create robust data models.
• Write DAX measures, calculated columns and KPIs aligned with business requirements.
• Optimize data models and queries to improve load times and overall performance.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Engineers and stakeholders to validate data and reporting needs.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, bug fixing and provide production support during UAT and deployment.
• Document data models, report specifications and deployment procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Power BI or Business Intelligence developer.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with good communication skills.
• Ability to work in an Agile, cross‑functional team and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• DAX for measures and calculated columns.
• SQL for data extraction and validation.
• Power Query (M language) and ETL concepts.
• Data modelling (Star and Snowflake schemas).
• Experience with Cloudera, Hive or Impala.
• Proficiency in UI/UX tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
