PMO & Strategic Project Associate

About the role

We are seeking a PMO & Strategic Project Associate to join the Category Management team at Astro Technologies Indonesia. In this role you will use data and analytical insights to drive strategic initiatives, uncover business opportunities and enhance commercial performance across our product categories.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze commercial and operational performance to spot opportunities, risks and improvement areas.
• Translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations to boost category performance.
• Conduct deep‑dive analyses to identify bottlenecks, performance gaps and revenue opportunities.
• Develop business cases, scenario analyses and data‑driven recommendations for strategic decisions.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports and performance‑tracking tools.
• Lead process‑improvement initiatives within the Category Management team.
• Support commercial planning for campaigns and seasonal events by recommending category, assortment and promotional strategies.
• Collaborate with Category Management, Upstream, Supply Chain and Operations teams to ensure successful execution of initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, Engineering or a related field with a strong academic record.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome.
• Internship or full‑time experience in management consulting, business strategy, e‑commerce, tech startups, FMCG or other data‑driven environments is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a data‑to‑insight mindset.
• Logical, structured thinker with high ownership, urgency and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fast learner with intellectual curiosity and an AI‑savvy mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookup functions, index‑match, nested formulas, scenario modelling).
• Comfortable working with large datasets; SQL proficiency is a strong advantage.
