People Partner Manager

About the role

Maersk is seeking a People Partner Manager to implement the global People Strategy locally, support leaders, and drive HR excellence within its Contract Logistics business in Indonesia.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the global People Strategy at the local level, aligned with regional and business goals.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for leaders and their teams on all people-related matters.
• Lead the delivery of the annual HR cycle, including performance management, compensation reviews, succession planning, and talent development.
• Provide guidance and resolution on employee relations issues, ensuring alignment with company policies and local regulations.
• Monitor and apply changes in local labor laws to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Act as a talent broker to facilitate internal mobility and development opportunities across teams and regions.
• Collaborate closely with the regional people team to manage daily HR operations and resolve complex HR cases.
• Analyze real-time HR data to generate insights, identify improvement opportunities, and drive data‑informed decisions.
• Design and deliver training sessions and workshops for local leaders and employees on various HR topics.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience as an HR generalist with solid understanding of recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, compensation, development, and employee relations.
• Relevant warehousing and contract logistics industry experience is highly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of labor law; experience in unionized environments is beneficial.
• Experience in large international organizations with strong relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills.
• Good change management, facilitation, and coaching abilities.
• Self‑driven, energetic, with a ‘can‑do’ mindset and excellent English communication skills.
