Part-time History Teacher in Kabupaten Karo

About the role

Ruangguru is looking for a motivated part‑time teacher to join its English Academy in Kabupaten Karo. You will deliver engaging English lessons to students of various ages and support their overall academic progress.

Key responsibilities

• Teach English classes directly to students across multiple education levels.
• Provide coaching, act as a buddy and role model for other Master Teachers, and share best practices.
• Conduct consultations with students and parents together with a Student Advisor to recommend suitable learning paths and maintain engagement.
• Run Homework Clinic sessions to help students overcome academic challenges.
• Participate in trial classes and collaborate with regional teams on educational initiatives.
• Meet the required minimum number of teaching and trial sessions.
• Maintain strong relationships with branch staff and stakeholders to ensure smooth class operations.
• Develop learning materials and assignments that align with the curriculum and improve student outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (S1) in a relevant subject.
• Experience teaching very young learners is a plus.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to try new teaching methods.
• Willingness to teach at the selected Ruangguru branch.
