Papua Special Cluster Manager

About the role

The Papua Special Cluster Manager provides overall leadership and strategic oversight for Wahana Visi Indonesia’s programs in Papua. The role ensures that child‑wellbeing outcomes and ministry objectives are achieved with high quality, accountability, and compliance to donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and reporting of programs and projects across Papua.
• Coordinate with all functional teams to align resources and support for effective delivery.
• Maintain compliance with organizational policies, technical standards, and donor regulations.
• Develop strategic partnerships with government, academia, and faith‑based organizations.
• Contribute to annual strategic planning, budgeting, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Identify new funding opportunities, negotiate project charters, and manage the Papua Cluster funding plan.
• Support emergency response readiness and coordinate timely assistance when needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior program or project management within a humanitarian or development context.
• Strong ability to lead cross‑functional teams and foster collaboration.
• Demonstrated knowledge of donor compliance and reporting standards.
• Experience working in fragile or remote environments, preferably in Papua.
• Capacity to develop strategic plans, budgets, and resource acquisition strategies.
