Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning Coordinator (AP Lombok)

About the role

The Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL) Coordinator will lead the planning and implementation of the AP monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning plan, supporting both sponsorship and non‑sponsorship projects across Lombok.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the MEAL plan in line with national, sectoral and organisational strategies, policies and standards.
• Provide technical support for AP design documents, grant proposals and project designs, including ITT, DIP, MTT and beneficiary tracking tools.
• Facilitate stakeholder involvement at city and local levels during design, monitoring and evaluation phases.
• Collaborate with the AP team and operating‑model partners to create monitoring and evaluation budgets and integrate cross‑cutting themes such as gender, inclusion, child protection and Christ‑centered commitment.
• Advise on resource acquisition, budget preparation and cost‑effective use of MEAL resources.
• Coordinate with city and local governments to secure budgetary and human resources for MEAL activities.
• Manage short‑cycle project MEAL strategies (projects < 1 year or < $30,000 USD).
• Build capacity of partners through technical assistance and training.

Required profile

• Proven experience in monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning within humanitarian or development programmes.
• Strong ability to work with operating‑model partners, community stakeholders and government officials.
• Excellent technical advisory skills for budgeting, resource mobilisation and programme design.
