Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and Learning Officer - Flores Tengah

About the role

The Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Officer (MEALO) will collect routine community‑level data to build and operate a community‑based monitoring and evaluation system. The role supports program vision development, capacity building, and quality assurance for World Vision projects in Flores Tengah, Indonesia.

Key responsibilities

• Support the program team in developing community‑focused visions and plans aligned with grant designs.
• Assist the MEAL Coordinator in facilitating participatory program planning with communities and partners.
• Utilize existing resources efficiently for project management and engagement.
• Facilitate capacity‑building activities for partners, cadres, and community members on monitoring and evaluation.
• Provide technical assistance to strengthen community‑based monitoring practices.
• Maintain and update program databases for use by the entire AP team.
• Coordinate regular monitoring activities, field accompaniment, and baseline surveys.
• Document project materials, reports, and field learnings for future planning.
• Report community monitoring data to the MEAL Coordinator and Program Manager accurately.
• Support the Complaints Feedback Response System (CFRS) and keep the feedback tracker current.
• Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual AP reports.
• Build partnerships with local organizations, institutions, and community bodies.
