Middleware Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Middleware Developer to design, build and maintain enterprise integration services for our banking clients. The role focuses on Java and Spring Boot based solutions that connect internal and external systems through robust APIs and micro‑services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and support integration services using Java (8/11/17+) and Spring Boot.
• Create, enhance and maintain RESTful APIs and middleware components for system‑to‑system communication.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs and integration architectures.
• Produce technical documentation such as Functional Specification Documents (FSD), Technical Specification Documents (TSD), Product Requirement Documents (PRD), Test Execution Documents (TED) and Acceptance Test Reports (BAST).
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, developers, QA engineers and solution architects throughout the SDLC.
• Conduct API analysis, integration testing, troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure smooth production deployment.
• Continuously improve integration patterns, architecture and development best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of software development or system integration experience, including at least 2 years in the banking industry.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
