Middleware Backend Engineer (Golang)

About the role

We are seeking a Golang developer to design, develop, and maintain middleware applications and integration services that enable seamless communication between internal and external systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance middleware applications and integration services using Golang.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, backend services, and micro‑services architecture.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective integration solutions.
• Integrate systems via REST API, HTTP/HTTPS, messaging protocols, and other integration methods.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise performance of middleware services.
• Ensure application security, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) for data integration and transaction processing.
• Develop unit and integration tests to guarantee quality and stability.
• Collaborate with backend developers, system analysts, DevOps, QA engineers, and other technical teams.
• Monitor and resolve issues in development, staging, and production environments.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for services, APIs, and system architecture.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of software development experience, preferably in middleware, backend, or system integration.
• Strong programming skills in Golang (Go).
• Proven experience with RESTful APIs and micro‑services architecture.
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
