Marketing Assistant

About the role

The Marketing Assistant supports client‑facing teams by delivering high‑quality, timely social‑media outputs. Working at the intersection of Creative, Account Management and Social Media execution, the role ensures campaigns are well‑planned, accurately implemented and continuously optimised.

Key responsibilities

• Project‑manage social media deliverables across multiple accounts, maintaining clear briefs, timelines and approvals.
• Maintain content calendars, publishing schedules, asset tracking and reporting timelines.
• Prepare regular performance reports, analyse metrics against objectives and identify optimisation opportunities.
• Handle day‑to‑day community management, monitor comments and messages, and escalate sentiment risks.
• Attend client meetings, prepare materials, and document notes and actions promptly.
• Stay up‑to‑date with platform updates, trends and emerging formats, sharing insights with internal teams.
• Support Account Managers with status updates, reporting and delivery confirmations.
• Conduct quality control on all outputs before publishing, checking copy, formatting, tagging and tone of voice.
• Execute and manage publishing across platforms, ensuring accurate and on‑time delivery.
• Act as the coordination point between clients, Creative Services and Account Management, flagging risks or delays.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years’ experience in an agency, in‑house or digital environment supporting social media or campaign delivery.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, formats and best practices.
• Excellent organisational and project‑management skills with ability to juggle multiple timelines.
• High attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Proactive, reliable and comfortable working in a client‑facing environment aligned to UAE working hours.
