Managing Consultant – Advisory & Deploy (Acquiring)

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Managing Consultant to lead advisory and deployment services for acquiring solutions. You will oversee a portfolio of strategic projects, manage risks, and drive measurable benefits across diverse business areas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client engagements and workstreams for large enterprise‑level programs across multiple industries.
• Promote accredited project and change‑management methodologies to deliver value from initiation to benefit realization.
• Mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality criteria.
• Identify new business opportunities, contribute to proposals, and lead sales calls with senior executives.
• Own relationships with mid‑level to senior client stakeholders and assess change readiness.
• Guide teams to develop creative insights, deliver impactful presentations, and grow their skills.
• Collaborate with internal Mastercard leadership, leverage subject‑matter experts, and build the firm’s intellectual capital.
• Provide on‑the‑job training, coaching, and mentorship to junior team members.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree with solid experience in project and change management.
• Minimum 6 years of project management experience, preferably in financial institutions, payments, or consulting.
• Proven ability to coach and manage teams across multiple projects.
• Experience managing key client relationships and delivering strategic outcomes.
