Manager - Business Recovery Services

About the role

PwC is seeking a Manager for its Business Recovery Services team in Jakarta. You will help clients navigate financial distress, design recovery strategies, and drive value‑focused outcomes across complex restructuring engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice and solutions to clients facing financial challenges.
• Lead and own recovery projects from planning and budgeting through execution and delivery.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members, leveraging their unique strengths.
• Partner with senior leadership to ensure quality, timelines and deliverables meet client expectations.
• Uphold PwC professional standards, code of conduct and independence requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in restructuring, advisory transactions or related finance roles.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, accounting or an MBA from a reputable university (overseas graduates preferred with GPA ≥ 3.0).
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both spoken and written.
• Strong analytical, communication and negotiation abilities, with confidence and maturity.
• Team‑player attitude, agility and a proactive mindset.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of finance and accounting.
• Experience in restructuring & advisory transactions (buy‑side/sell‑side).
• Financial modelling.
• Project management.
• CFA and/or CPA qualifications (advantageous).
