Legal Counsel Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Counsel Manager to lead our legal function, ensuring the company operates within the bounds of corporate, labor and commercial law while supporting business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement legal strategies that protect company interests and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, vendors and partners.
• Maintain corporate documents, licenses and legal records across multiple entities and ensure adherence to local and international regulations.
• Identify legal risks, provide business‑oriented advice and support risk‑management initiatives.
• Manage external counsel, oversee litigation or arbitration processes and resolve disputes.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, Procurement and Business Development to embed legal compliance in all initiatives.
• Standardize legal templates, approval workflows and implement digital document‑management systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law; licensed advocate (Peradi) preferred.
• 8–10 years of progressive legal experience, including 3–5 years in a managerial or in‑house counsel role.
• Strong expertise in corporate, commercial, contract and labor law.
• Experience with multi‑entity or group company structures is an advantage.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken).
