IT Infrastructure Department Head

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Department Head to define and execute our technology strategy, ensuring that our IT landscape supports the fast‑paced manufacturing environment. The role reports to senior management and will be based in Palembang.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and align the IT infrastructure roadmap with business objectives.
• Lead the IT Infrastructure, Network, System Administration, and IT Support teams.
• Maintain high availability of servers, networks, cloud services, and data‑center operations.
• Oversee LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi‑Fi, firewall, and enterprise security implementations.
• Manage Windows and Linux server administration, virtualization, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Implement cybersecurity measures, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and disaster‑recovery planning.
• Support manufacturing systems such as ERP, warehouse, production, quality, and distribution.
• Control infrastructure budgets, vendor relationships, and investment plans.
• Establish policies, SOPs, standards, and governance to ensure compliance.
• Monitor performance through KPIs and SLA management and drive continuous improvement projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of IT infrastructure experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or department‑head role.
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, food & beverage, or distribution is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to work onsite in Palembang.
