IT Consultant (Pre‑Sales)

About the role

We are looking for an IT Consultant to join our pre‑sales team in North Jakarta. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating customer needs into technical solutions and supporting the sales process from initial pitch to final proposal.

Key responsibilities

• Pitch solutions, explain product features and benefits to customers.
• Prepare cost estimates, technical proposals, business cases and Bill of Quantities.
• Respond to RFI/RFP requests and assist sales during technical presentations.
• Gather and analyse business requirements, create topology diagrams and Bill of Materials.
• Conduct demos, proof‑of‑concepts and product updates for clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams, schedule priorities and deliver regular status reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of pre‑sales experience in networking or security.
• Strong problem‑solving, presentation and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work under pressure, be proactive and think strategically.

Required skills

• Network architecture: LAN, WAN, VLAN, routing, switching.
• Cyber‑security concepts: threat, vulnerability, risk, compliance, zero‑trust.
• Enterprise devices: Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba, Juniper, Ruckus.
• Virtualisation: VMWare, Nutanix, Microsoft Hyper‑V.
• Cloud computing fundamentals.
