IT Application Support – MRP

About the role

We are looking for an IT Application Support professional to ensure the stability and successful execution of critical end‑of‑day (EOD) batch processes for banking operations. The role involves shift work, handling incidents, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to keep systems running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and support batch and production processes, guaranteeing successful EOD runs during day and night shifts.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents using SQL‑based data patching and system troubleshooting.
• Manage user‑reported issues via Jira, maintaining high service quality and timely resolution.
• Assist User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test data, validating fixes, and supporting users throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams (Wintel, IAM) for system maintenance, device compliance, and access updates.
• Perform post‑maintenance validation and monitor server resources to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain operational readiness of devices and applications in line with banking policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Application or Production Support, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Willingness to work in rotating day/night shifts.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Oracle Database (SQL querying, troubleshooting, data validation).
• Linux operating environment.
• Jira ticketing system.
• Experience with Core Banking applications, especially Oracle Flexcube (preferred).
