Hospital IT Consultant

About the role

The Hospital IT Consultant will act as a technical expert for hospital‑related projects, providing advice, shaping technical direction, and ensuring solutions meet business priorities. This individual contributor works closely with cross‑functional teams to translate healthcare needs into robust IT solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Apply subject‑area expertise to complete assignments and support business‑specific projects.
• Develop work plans, coordinate resources, and ensure adherence to procedures and policies.
• Collaborate across functions to make effective decisions and solve complex problems.
• Escalate high‑priority issues and identify improvement opportunities.
• Gather and document functional and non‑functional requirements using established methodologies.
• Create business cases assessing cost, benefit, ROI, and total cost of ownership.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of current processes to guide future‑state evolution.

Required profile

• Master’s (S2) or Bachelor’s (S1) degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT consulting, systems analysis, or technical advisory roles.
• Proven ability to lead junior team members and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
